NIET-GEWELDDADIG FASCISME<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dit zegt de New York Times<\/em> op 14.05.2008 in een artikel over de toestand in de rand rond Brussel en Noord-Belgi\u00eb:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThat combination of national pride, rightist politics, language purity and racially tinged opposition to <\/em><\/strong>immigration<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/strong> is a classic formula these days in modern <\/em><\/strong>Europe<\/em><\/strong>, what critics call a kind of nonviolent fascism<\/span>.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

De Belgische Unie gaat \u00e9\u00e9n van de meest toonaangevende Amerikaanse kranten niet tegenspreken. Het gedrag van de beperkte groep Vlaams-nationalisten, gesteund door een kleine groep van al even radicale Waals- en francofone nationalisten, die samen de traditionele politiek en de pers beheersen in dit land, is een mengsel van vreemdelingenhaat, taalracisme en rechts-nationalisme.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De niet-benoeming door de \u201cVlaamse\u201d overheid van de drie tweetalige en in de rand rond Brussel verkozen burgemeesters omdat ze tweetalige oproepingen voor de verkiezingen hadden verstuurd, is slechts \u00e9\u00e9n van de ondertussen talrijke voorbeelden van waartoe taalnationalisme kan leiden. Tot onverzettelijkheid, disproportionaliteit en extremisme.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De raad van Europa zal na het bezoek van drie offici\u00eble gezanten aan de betrokken faciliteitengemeenten, dat zopas is afgelopen, normaal gezien deze \u201cVlaamse\u201d overheid weer en terecht veroordelen wegens taalracisme. Het wordt ondertussen een gevecht van de 10.000 overblijvende Vlaams-nationalisten en hun pers tegen de rest van de wereld. Marino Keulen, Vlaams minister van \u201cbinnenlandse\u201d aangelegenheden en verantwoordelijk voor de benoeming van de burgmeesters in het Vlaams gewest, wil uiteraard van geen wijken weten. Niet dat dat ons verwondert. Een nationalist wijkt nooit en heeft altijd gelijk. Het begint te lijken op een aflevering van Star Wars of zelfs de Muppet Show: <\/strong>\u201cThe Flamingants against the World, Episode II: the Flemish fascist chicken counterattacks !\u201d<\/em> Wij wachten ongeduldig op het spannende vervolg\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

En dit terwijl het programma van de B.U.B. sinds haar oprichting in 2002 een elegante oplossing biedt voor al die belachelijke problemen: \u00e9\u00e9n unitair Belgi\u00eb met provinciale decentralisatie en een actieve politiek van tweetaligheid. De taalwetten mogen blijven, maar ze mogen niet extremistisch ge\u00efnterpreteerd worden en de burger moet centraal staan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

FASCISME NON-VIOLENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le New York Times \u00e9crit ceci le 14.05.2008 dans un article sur la situation en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie bruxelloise et dans le Nord de la Belgique\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019union belge ne contredira pas l\u2019un des journaux les plus renomm\u00e9s des Etats-Unis. Le comportement du groupe restreint de nationalistes flamands, appuy\u00e9 par un groupe aussi restreint de nationalistes francophones et wallons,\u00a0qui ma\u00eetrisent ensemble la politique traditionnelle et la presse, constitue un m\u00e9lange de haine x\u00e9nophobe, de racisme linguistique et de nationalisme conservateur. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Le refus de l\u2019autorit\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0flamande\u00a0\u00bb de nommer les trois bourgmestres bilingues \u00e9lus dans la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie bruxelloise parce qu\u2019ils avaient envoy\u00e9 des convocations bilingues aux \u00e9lecteurs, ne constitue que l\u2019un des exemples, entre-temps nombreux, des cons\u00e9quences du nationalisme linguistique. L\u2019intransigeance, la disproportionnalit\u00e9 et l\u2019extr\u00e9misme.<\/p>\n

Le Conseil de l\u2019Europe, apr\u00e8s l\u2019envoi d\u2019une mission d\u2019enqu\u00eate dans les communes concern\u00e9es, mission qui vient de se terminer, sanctionnera probablement de nouveau et \u00e0 juste titre cette autorit\u00e9 \u201cflamande\u201d pour racisme linguistique. Cela devient petit \u00e0 petit un combat des derniers\u00a010.000 nationalistes flamands et leur presse contre le reste du monde. Marino Keulen, le ministre flamand des affaires int\u00e9rieures et responsable de la nomination des bourgmestres en r\u00e9gion flamande ne veut \u00e9videmment pas c\u00e9der. <\/strong>Cela ne peut \u00e9tonner. Un nationaliste ne c\u00e8de jamais et a toujours raison. On dirait une \u00e9pisode de Star Wars, voire du Muppet Show: <\/strong>\u201cThe Flamingants against the World, Episode II: the Flemish fascist chicken counterattacks !\u201d<\/em> Nous attendons impatiemment la suite\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enfin, nous attirons votre attention sur le fait que le programme du B.U.B. offre depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2002 une solution \u00e9l\u00e9gante \u00e0 tous ces probl\u00e8mes ridicules: une Belgique unitaire avec d\u00e9centralisation provinciale et une politique active de bilinguisme. Les lois linguistiques peuvent \u00eatre maintenues, mais on ne peut les interpr\u00e9ter de fa\u00e7on extr\u00e9miste et le citoyen doit \u00eatre au milieu des pr\u00e9occupations des autorit\u00e9s. <\/strong><\/p>\n
